11 Plus-Size Winter Coats You Need in Your Closet ASAP

I know I made the decision to move to Los Angeles a nearly three years ago, but I can’t help occasionally missing the cold winters I grew up knowing. Even though I lived in the south most of my life, where we were lucky to get a few inches of snow, the weather still got much, much colder than it ever really does in LA. Now that I live in Southern California, I have no reason to buy a million plus-size winter coats—but that doesn’t stop me from adding them all to my wishlist.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for a cute winter coat. And plus-size retailers have them in spades this year. I’ve always had difficulty finding cute coats that fit me correctly, but nowadays there are so many options. Of course it comes at a time when I’m no longer living in a location where I need plus-size winter coats, but I’ll take the win for size inclusivity regardless. After all, plenty of people still live in places where the temperatures get below freezing (Can you imagine?!), and they need all the coats they can get.
