When I originally thought about what a charm necklace was, I pictured the stereotypical charm bracelet—only on a longer chain. What I didn’t realize, though, is that charm necklaces are really just cute necklaces with charms hanging from them. You don’t necessarily add or remove them, and they don’t all have to be side-by-side like on a charm bracelet (although they can be).
