While on the surface, this article may seem to be a simple (and shoppable!) lookbook dedicated to Harry Style’s “Watermelon Sugar” music video, it’s really just an amorous letter of sorts. Harry Styles is—for all intents and purposes—an icon. He’s a legend in the making, and it doesn’t just have to do with his curly locks, sultry voice, swoon-worthy grin or even the fact that his fans are beyond dedicated. In addition to all of these qualities, Harry Styles also has a truly unique sense of style that has allowed him to surpass other started-from-a-boy-band-now-we’re-here celebrities.
With both the sexual fervor of Mick Jagger and boundary-pushing looks of David Bowie, Harry Styles has evolved from the typical rockstar into something much, much more powerful: himself. I’m just here to pay tribute (and help us all, in some way, emulate Harry).

When Styles released the much-anticipated music video for “Watermelon Sugar,” there were two things I noticed right off the bat: Harry’s mouth on that watermelon (because !!!!!!!!!!!) and his incredible lewk—especially those sunnies. The star never disappoints when it comes to aesthetics, and his latest music video is full of summer outfit inspiration. And while we may not all be able to dress like Harry Styles on the reg, we can attempt to bring just a little bit of his style into our own wardrobes.
Partly to satiate my own desire to constantly look like I popped out of a Harry Styles music video and party because I care about all of you, I created a little lookbook inspired by the “Watermelon Sugar” music video. From heart-shaped sunglasses to watermelon bags and even swimsuits that look like they belong in the video, allow these summer accessories and plus-size pieces to take you on a much-deserved Harry Styles-induced journey.
Here at Unruly, we’re committed to featuring plus-size pieces we genuinely love and want to share with you.
